After nearly 24 hours of flying, we have official arrived at the People of Peru Project in Iquitos!
Lots of interesting things have been seen. The descending flight was eye-popping when I woke up to a sea of trees and jungle. We really are in the Amazon out here.
Exhaustion is kicking in, and we will wake up later this afternoon for more orientation and preparation for our mission work. More posts are sure to come soon!
